there is an artist in san antonio, unles she has moved, donna dubblefor (sp?) does bronzes and others, she did a bronze of a rhino running (my dad got that one, damn him)

ever hear of charles omlaf?? (he was a sculpter in the Austin, TX area, died YEARS ago)
he did a rhino to die for, i wasn't able to obtain it. i wish i had

Hi! well, got to say I ve never heard about Mr omlaf... gonna check this rigth now....
If u are interested in bronze animal sculpture you should check Michel Lauricella.... He was my teacher and he is now a good friend of mine, and he s damn good!....
By the way, my rhino and others are for sale.....

Not a bad sculpture of a rhino, I like the body proportions of the rhino, the only thing that looks a bit weird is the hump behind he’s ears, it’s a little to big and the angle of the small horn is wrong, but other than that I think it looks good.

I’m from South Africa and love Rhino’s, they are amazing animals with a lot of power, and my favorite is the Black Rhino:lol:
